I've worked with Melissa for the past thirteen years, and little did I know when we first met how much of an impact she would have on my life. Having watched so many of her fabulous creations come to life, it was exciting to finally work with her as a bride. Yards of silk taffeta, thousands of pleats, meticulous fittings, and custom embroidery came together to form my perfect gown—a priceless heirloom. There are no words to express how incredibly talented and creative she is. Melissa is so much more that just a dressmaker, she's an artist in every sense of the word. I was thinking about you a few weeks ago. I accompanied a co-worker who was trying on dresses. My friend looked beautiful and she chose the dress, but all I kept thinking was how comparatively empty her experience was. The dress was just an article of clothing. It fit her well, but there was no story, no friendship, no history with it. At that moment, I felt incredibly lucky to have had the unique and special experience of meeting you and the boys.—Amanda

I wanted to tell you how very pleased I was with the incredible dress you made Cassi. You captured everything that is Cassi. No one else could have pulled off that dress except you and her together. After all, duchess satin, feathers, fishnet stockings and purple shoes! It was incredible. She was not going to let me see the dress until the day of the wedding when she put it on in the temple to go outside in the snowstorm! The afternoon before the wedding we were at their apartment and she told me to close my eyes and she walked out in the incredible dress.
